Abstract
A company moves towards shared services to consolidate redundant cross-organizational operations and to reduce the costs associated with those operations. By leveraging proven process improvement methodologies during the planning and implementation of the shared services model, the enterprise can reduce the cost of the transitional process and improve the velocity and efficiency of the transactional processes owned by shared services.
