Lean Six Sigma

Lean Six Sigma combines the data analysis and process improvement discipline of Six Sigma with the fast pace of Lean to achieve significant results – allowing companies to “work better and faster.”  The combination of these methods helps organizations derive measurable value from strategic initiatives.

The collective knowledge and experience of the Transform team includes over 150 mentored and completed Green Belt, Black Belt and Master Black Belt projects (DMAIC, DFSS, and Lean), and dozens of Green Belt and Black Belt training classes at organizations including GE, Motorola, Delta Air Lines, Midwest, The Home Depot, and the United States Air Force.

Transform advises clients on how to set-up and operate the key areas of Lean Six Sigma:

  • Full Life-Cycle Strategy – training, mentoring, coaching, certification, change management, assessment and knowledge transfer;

  • Experienced Resources – utilization of experienced resources with a full transition to internal resources;

  • Training, Mentoring, and Coaching – services provided by Certified Master Black Belts and Black Belts. Lean Six Sigma Certification World class standards and programs for training, project completion and testing;

  • Implementation and Change Management – on-site services provided by Six Sigma Implementation Leaders with experience in change management and business process re-engineering methods; and

  • Knowledge Transfer – train-the-trainer for fully transitioning Six Sigma knowledge management to new resources.

High-Performance Architecture

Transform advises clients on creating a “right-sized,” effective, and efficient operations having the ability to adjust assets – resources, processes and systems - according to strategic, operational and cost considerations.

At a high level, Transform helps clients through the following stages of creating a High-Performance Architecture:

  • Current State Assessment – focusing on Organizational Design and Resource Allocation utilizing Lean Six Sigma and People Capability Maturity Model;

  • Functional Decomposition – focusing on Functional and Process Analysis including Value Stream, enabling clients to identify and quantify ways to increase its effectiveness and drive results across functions; and

  • Transformation Plan – including future state Organizational Design, Resource Allocation and Process/Value Streams.

Cost Mining

Our teams lead clients in the rapid identification of cost out opportunities to deliver “Quick Hit” benefits and long-term improvement.  We target key areas of opportunity including admin support, solution management, sourcing, and investment strategy.

 

Lean for GREEN

Transform's Lean for GREEN initiatives focus on advising clients on formulating, implementing and measuring "Green" practices targeted at reducing costs and creating value opportunities.  Our solutions deliver improvements in the areas of environmental impact and sustainability - from back-room to customer-facing functions - across processes, organizations, and systems.

Our Lean for GREEN focus areas include:

  • GREEN Value Stream – methods to deliver solutions with maximum efficiency and minimum waste;

  • GREEN Teams – a standard methodology and operating system for our clients to utilize internal Green Teams for driving Green initiatives;

  • GREEN Innovation – simultaneously delivering solutions focused on end-customer value and environmental impact reduction; and

  • GREEN Transformation – organizational transformation programs to drive culture change towards continuous improvement in the areas of environmental impact and sustainability.

Complexity Management and Simplification
